Next week, there will be planning district meetings that focus on planning and zoning issues that affect the neighborhoods in the 13 districts in New Orleans. At these meetings citizens will be able to voice opinions on how the city’s official master plan will help individual neighborhoods grow and prosper.
These meetings will help Goody Clancy and the City Planning Commission better understand what each district values in regards to city zoning. Through these public meetings, the development of the master plan will become a blueprint for the zoning in the city and a revision of the comprehensive zoning ordinance.
All citizens are invited to attend and participate.
